Henry S. Stichter lived in Pottsville, PA during the middle of the 19th century. Known to be building banjos as young as 16 years old. There are now only 2 known original Stichter banjos left in existence. The one pictured below is owned by the great banjo historian & collector James Bollman, who was kind enough to send me pictures and measurements.
